This place is great! If you need your bacon fix head here. Plates tend to be around $13 give or take a bit. The man candy and bacon stuffed donuts are a must! The chicken and waffles are also delicious. Good service and both lot and street parking. They are also known for their bloody Mary's but almost all their drink options include a touch of bacon. They take a creative twist on some yummy classics.
The food is okay, not great. The service is slow and not outstanding. The local beer selection works. I didn't order a drink but the drinks I saw other people drinking looked great. I ordered the local oysters. BUYER BEWARE!!! These oysters are not even remotely local. They're from Long Island. The half dozen oysters I had were not shucked properly. The chef never separated the oyster from the shell. The oysters were anything but fresh. Mushy oysters are no fun to eat. I then ordered the chicken and waffles. When it arrived it looked very good. Except for the cold slab of butter sitting on top. When i order this type of meal I want the butter soft and melting. The fried chicken was a thick tough battered chicken breast. When I touched my fork to it all the fried batter fell off of the chicken. Not a fantastic meal for $15. I had 2 beers. My total bill was $52. Great concept, good looking restaurant. I just dont understand the 4 and 5 stars for the quality of food coming out of the kitchen.
Food is amazing lots of comfort food. Clam chowder is wicked thick and full of clams and bacon. Can't go wrong with any of the small plates! Atmosphere is great and bartenders are very helpful. But please change the T.V.s seeing the same slide show pictures over and over again gets old especially when you are on am uneventful date!

Been here a handful of times now and I've never been disappointed! Food is delicious and staff is friendly. Owner is very accommodating! Will definitely be a returning customer.
