Had a brain tumor removed here. Everything was great until post surgery. No one will call you back in the neuro surgeons office. Made multiple calls and I am still waiting to speak to a doctor. Was referred to neurology and am still waiting for someone to call me. The referral was sent over 2 weeks ago and was supposed to be urgent. I will never allow them to operate on me or any member of my family. Absolutely disgusted with the way they treat patients! Don't use them for anything!

Pretty good hospital and good doctors and nurses just the time you have to wait is pretty annoying but overall good hospital
This facility is Amazing. You will never get this kind of care, attention, surgeons in USA. From the beginning to the end of your procedure. Even when you leave they stay in contact with you. I would tell anyone you will be safe there and it is so well taken care of...!
I Would never recommend this place to anyone, after spending 45 min looking for nuerosurgery i wound up checking in at oncology after they had directed me elsewhere but that's where you check in, after an hour i adsk whats up yiou told me to be here 1/2 hour early, ashe tells me they are always 1 hour late, at that point i'm gasping for air and pass out shortly after sitting down, nurses were great and took care of me, doctor walks in and says i'm not seeing you like this ur gonna go to the e.r., i told him im not going to ur e.r. and whats wrong you didnt do pre-med to understand some low blood pressure caused by you!! You looked at my MRI and said i can't help you after 2 of the best Drs' in Ct recommend Surgery but Tufts Health Care Doesn't cover Ct. Dr's Or Hospitals.
If you have a mental health problem or anything that they have a hard time understanding then you are treat like a sub human. Everyone that comes in there that does not have blood pouring out of them are labeled a drug addict or a mental health problem and that when they start treat you like you are a sub human and treatment becomes so bad that you just want to leave. This is what they want. I will never ever step back into that hospital again. I go to Boston now and no matter what your problem is you are treated with total respect. UMass Hospital should be investigated by the state. But fat chance of that happening. You are better off at a small local hospital.
