This insurance company is BAD. They summarily, without warning through mail or the agent, dropped coverage on my home( worth approximately $300K) in the suburbs of Worcester, a year after I had them replace the roof (about a $14k total claim) due to snow and ice damage during the freak Halloween snow storm of 2011. I was going to school full-time and was unemployed and paying bills (including their premium) from my savings. I was uncovered for at least a few weeks. I could have suffered a catastrophic loss. Absolutely f-ing horrendous. I filed a complaint with the MA attorney general's office. No satisfaction. Never had anything like this happen with any other carrier. F-them and stay away.
Arbella. Here. For NO GOOD!
Over the years that I have been with Arbella I have received nothing but wonderful service. When I was rear-ended some years ago, I thought it would probably cost not more than $500, but when the service people took the car they also noticed that my transmission was badly harmed. The service people called Arbella, and over the phone they authorized the service.
9 years with this company and this year make me double bill payment. No good for business .Why.????
Don't love the fact that my car got totaled
Don't insure with these folks. I had a hit and run on my two vehicles while I slept in the pre-dawn hours one morning in January. I called the Police and Arbella customer service at 6:30 am to report the incident. I was interviewed several times by the Arbella Goon Squad to ask me what I "think" happened. Well, I don't know, I was asleep. From that point I was treated like a criminal.Prior to recording me they said, "just tell us what you think happened". I did, they sent out a so-called investigator. They all told me that this didn't happen the way you said. WTF? I don't know... you asked me what I "think" based on what I saw you Pinheads. Several thousand dollars of damage and they tell me I did this deliberately to file a claim. Huh??? BTW, I was recovering from surgery at the time. So tell me, why would I go through all that at 6:00 am on a cold winter morning? After seven years of being a loyal customer who always paid on time for coverage on all my cars and home my claim is denied and told there was no loss in fact?!? But, they still renewed all my policies. Beware of this bunch. YOU PROBABLY DON'T HAVE ANY COVERAGE IN FACT. I switched to Good Hands and saved $657.00 a year. Arbella overcharges and covers nothing. Shop around and don't get ripped off.
