Beautiful scenery for being in the middle of the city. One of my favorite places to go to take a walk enjoy the various wildlife, take photos of the variety of flowers they have that attract butterflies and read a book amongst it all and relax
Great Park to bring your family to. There's a small park, petting zoo. Also there is a area that you can have a picnic at that has a roof so if it's raining you'll remain dry. There is a couple small ponds. There are a few trails that you could take a walk on. There is also a veterans memorial in the park as well.
Nice park to relax, walk on hills observe far golf-field. Vietnam War Memorial with stones in water and quotes of letters from young military guys to their mothers. Place when you understand that each life matters. Also you can see gold fish in the Memorial pond-fountain. I feed them on Weekends. But please don't fishing )

I've been going here on and of my whole life. If you aren't afraid of seeing people who live off the land mostly occasionally, you'll probably love it. It's a very safe place if you are aware of your surroundings. Kids and families sled when the big hill is covered in ice. It's a good place to go, any time of the year.
