Being faced with a serious injury can be a nerve racking experience. From the evaluation of the injury, to surgery, through a one year follow up period Dr. Simon was remarkable. From a technical standpoint he spent time with me to make sure I understood the injury, as well as what options were available to me moving forward. He explained the positives and negatives of the different options that I had available, and what each option would entail. On the day of my surgery he spent time with me before to make sure I was at ease, and was there when I woke up to explain how everything went. From an execution standpoint the surgery went exactly as planned. Over the course of the following year I had a series of follow up appointments. He was honest and transparent as to how my recovery was going, and ensuring I was aware of milestones that should be met. He helped put plans in place specific to my own recovery. At one year from my surgery date I have had a complete recovery with full functionality. He established a relationship to connect with me as a person rather than a patient. During a very difficult time he understood the psychology of being injured and importance of keeping a positive, upbeat attitude. Although I hope it is something I never have to go through again I am thankful that I had the opportunity to work with such a great professional.
There is not much more to say other than amazing. He has done a reverse shoulder replacement on my husband, and ac joint surgery on my shoulder (which was misdiagnosed) by another dr. and I had surgery from that doctor for nothing. Dr. Simon found the right problem, fixed it and I have no more pain and my husband can do anything with his shoulder that he did the reverse replacement on. There is no other doctor I would go to or trust as much as doctor Simon. He is a miracle worker. When he moved from St. Vincent's in Worcester to New Hampshire I had no problem following him. He is well worth the hour ride. Not to mention his awsome sense of humor and his great bedside manner. I could go on and on but I think you get the picture. Highly recommend. AAAA++++
I can't say enough about Dr Simon! He helped me in a huge way this week. If it were not for his help on his day off mind you, I would not have enjoyed my family trip to Disney. On top of a great bedside manner he's funny too. Ohh, he even gave me some great advice for my family while we where on vacation. Trust me, this is your guy. Thank you Dr Simon!
