There so called customer service supervisor doesn't answer emails or her phone and there drivers were always late... Went with another trucking company there are plenty of other reliable trucking company's in MA & New England area besides ICI.
If you're intelligent enough to be reading this, you're too smart for Intransit. Favoritism is rampant, everything is based on seniority and/ or nepotism. They discourage intelligence and promote rednecks who will willfully do the manager's bidding. While working there I was instructed to forge documents (I refused and was reprimanded), and regularly heard racist and sexist comments from the managers, and when I tried to stand up for myself or other coworkers, I was bullied into silence until I left. I'm surprised the place hasn't been shut down by now.
No.. Don't work here. That place was horrible. A complete redneck operation. First you work out of a trailer (not an actual building), everyone is yelling over each other. Morale in this place was horrible, it was like a morgue. A lot of I don't give a s@$t attitudes. Some people were nice, but most people seemed annoyed. The Vice President could care less if you did a good job (he never thanked you), but if u screwed up you were in his office getting yelled at. There was no flow to this place, a lot of unhappy people and the pay sucked to boot. There are a million trucking companies in Massachusetts, find another one to work for than Intransit Container.
I worked for them for a short time while I was there my dispatch was always changed they played favorites with drivers and they ran me over my hours glad i left not a well managed company.
