Great restaurant offering tasty British-inspired dishes. We visited Monday evening and loved it. We tried the truffle fries as our appetizer and it was simply AMAZING. My husband had the meatloaf and I tried their mushroom and spinach pizza. Both were delicious. I had a recommendation from a friend that they made good pizza and they were correct! The dessert offerings are varied and also done very well. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Definitely will return to try other yummy offerings.
I love the Shepherd's Pie here. I'm not a huge gravy fan and they are always super nice about putting it on the side for me. All of their food is great actually. The restaurant is really pretty with a bar and fireplace and two levels with an elevator.
The beer selection is decent. The food is average but expensive. Trivia is fun and they do have some good specials. Nice new location on Shrewsbury St.
This location much quieter than other BBC locations. Good food, good service
My husband and I went for a late lunch, so it was not busy. The waiter was very attentive with serving tables and working the bar. They have a regular menu and gluten-free. We both had the steak tips, mine were made GF and served with mash potatoes and mixed vegetables. My husband got a potato and fried green bean. Both meals were well prepared and cooked to order. At night it can get pretty busy, but it's a great place with a bar and TV's as well as booths and tables.
